Man of God

 A man of god
As said by his black dress and white collar.
Seemingly steadfast hands bless the weary
Disjointedly anointing
His touch quivers with latent sin.
Years have passed
But the memory persists,
And God never fails
To remind him of his misdeeds.
The only indication of his wayward path:
His crooked teeth,
Each leaning on its neighbor,
In an attempt to mask the lie he lives.
