In the Garden of the World

Through earth seed springs,
And when Spring, rebirth.
The natural swells of life,
Uninterrupted by opposite forces.

Does dirt lay waste to see
And suffocate all desire to flourish?
Yet can seed still blossom
Without dirt's nourishment?

Should a gardener ever be discouraged
By the aridity of trodden ground-
Choosing never to quench
The thirst of Her dying labor?

No,
Because in the garden of this world,
Who decides what grows
Other than
The gardener herself?
