They always claimed it would be easy, but they're the privileged ones
For them life is breezy, they never struggled like us

Following the norm, staying in the form
I am not a rainbow, don't wanna wait for later
If I dare to be a rainbow in a world of black and white
They'll say I'm revolting but I don't need their spite

Some people say I'm a demon but I-
It's not as if I can't hear them
People will throw stones, and leave you for the crows.
But you know who your friends are
Keep reaching for that one star
I'm not saying it's gonna be easy
 We are the muted generation
I'm not saying there's no strife
But that's life
